The work is about cognition. Photographing everything in the world. And an archive presently consisting of twenty-five thousand images.

Revolving around the intersection of art and science– from MIT to paris and places in-between– Faust arrived at 110 photographs for Niche, beaux-arts publication and harvard university press, 2008. Articles, texts and reviews published in aperture, der standard, artforum, parkett, new york times, etc.

Upcoming commissioned museum and biennial projects for 2008 include south korea, belgium, israel and the canary islands.

Recently exhibited UN [united nations] photographs in Not Only Possible, But Also Necessary: Optimism in the Age of Global War at the 10th International Istanbul Biennial 2007, Hidden in Plain Sight at the Metropolitan Museum Museum of Art 2007 New York, and and The Unhomely Phantom Scenes in Global Society at the 2nd International Biennial of Contemporary Art of Seville 2006.
