Ethan Miller is currentlycompleting an MFA degree at CADRE Laboratory for New Media. His interestsfocus onalgorithmic art, networked communities, and issues surrounding opensource software and culture. He participated in ZERO1 2006 as the student coordinator for the Montalvo/CADRE residency “On Translation : Social Networks” with Antoni Muntadas,as well as a collaborator for “Situated Digital Archaeology” with James Morgan. The Muntadas project has since been shown twice in Spain, where Ethan organized the installation of the work. Ethan has shown work in, and co-organized the “Borders Boundaries and Liminal Spaces” conference with Ars Virtua in Second Life. He is currently
showing his MFA thesis project at the ICA gallery in San Jose, and will have work in the upcoming Media Arts component of the Electronic Literature Organization’s 2008 conference in Vancouver, Washington.
